Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk meets with Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Michal

Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kristen Michal, for Estonia's unwavering support of Ukraine and its people. He specifically thanked Estonia for its decision to allocate annual defense assistance amounting to 0.25% of its GDP over the next four years, and for the new government's commitment to uphold this promise.

During the conversation, the primary focus was on the Victory Plan presented by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on October 16, and each of its five points.

In the context of strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, Estonia’s involvement in the IT Coalition and the implementation of Estonia’s initiative to procure artillery ammunition were also concerned. All these efforts aim to enhance Ukraine’s defensive potential.

Additionally, the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament discussed continuing cooperation with Estonia in digital technologies and cybersecurity. They also focused on the situation in Ukraine’s energy sector and the country's reconstruction.

Finally, Ruslan Stefanchuk thanked Estonia for initiating the reconstruction of one of Ukraine’s regions and for the successful implementation of projects in the Zhytomyr region.
