Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Albania Ernal Filo

On October 4, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of credentials from the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Ukraine Ernal Filo.

The Deputy Minister congratulated Ernal Filo on the beginning of his diplomatic mission to Ukraine and praised the decision of the Albanian government to open the Embassy in Kyiv. “It is a historic step for the development of bilateral Ukrainian-Albanian relations”, - said Yevhen Perebyinis.

He expressed gratitude for Albania's consistent support of our country in the fight against full-scale Russian aggression, including by providing military assistance to Ukraine.

The interlocutors discussed Albania's participation in the implementation of the Peace Formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the country's support of Ukraine's accession to NATO, as well as the interaction between the two countries on the path to the EU membership.

The Ambassador, in his turn, assured of Albania's unwavering position on support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty and confirmed its commitment to further development of friendly relations.
