Prime Minister met with high-level international advisers on European integration of the Nordic-Baltic Eight

On 23 July, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with high-level international advisers on European integration of the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) in Kyiv.

Denys Shmyhal thanked the NB8 states for their unwavering support of Ukraine and vital assistance to our country, including military aid. He also expressed gratitude for the signing of security agreements with our country, stressing that this is a strong signal of long-term support, and Ukrainian society highly appreciates it.

"Ukraine will be an important part of the EU and the European economic strategy. In particular, in terms of global food security, IT, critical raw materials and cybersecurity. We have extensive experience in countering russian hybrid threats and are willing to share it," the Prime Minister said.

The Head of the Ukrainian Government thanked the countries of the Nordic-Baltic Eight for supporting the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine and participating in the Peace Summit: "We strongly believe that this is an effective international platform that will help end the war and establish a just peace."
