Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine Pavel Vizdal

 

 

On 5 July, 2024 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine Pavel Vizdal.

Yevhen Perebyinis congratulated the Ambassador on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Kyiv and expressed gratitude for the solidarity, political support, defence and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine provided by Slovakia since the start of Russia’s full-scale military aggression.

The interlocutors discussed key tasks for the implementation of the agreements at the highest political and governmental levels, as well as cooperation in the implementation of the Peace Formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Particular attention was paid to preparation for the visit of the President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini to Ukraine, as well as the regular meeting of the Ukrainian-Slovak Joint Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

Pavel Vizdal reiterated Slovakia's intention to continue supporting Ukraine in restoring its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as to actively participate in the implementation of projects to rebuild Ukraine.

Yevhen Perebyinis wished Pavel Vizdal success in his new post as Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine and expressed hope for further consolidation and deepening of Ukrainian-Slovak cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
