The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Małgorzata Maria Kidawa-Błońska
First of all, the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine expressed gratitude for all the support we have received from Poland and the Polish people over the past two years, as well as for the shelter of Ukrainians, political, military and humanitarian assistance.
“Ukraine is also grateful for the support of the Peace Formula and Ukraine's path to the European Union,” he stressed.
The meeting was also focused on the export of Ukrainian agricultural products and the blocking of checkpoints. “It is important to find ways to resolve the problem at the border as soon as possible,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
In addition, the parties discussed increasing sanctions pressure against russia and developing a national mechanism for confiscating russian assets frozen in Poland.
