“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine continues to work in an intensified mode for the sake of people and the approaching victory over the enemy,” the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko said on the air of the Arabic TV channel Al Jazeera.
The First Vice Speaker also spoke about the work of the Parliament of Ukraine in the new realities due to the full-scale unprovoked invasion of the russian federation.
“russia has entered our territory and must get out of our land to the borders recognised by the world in 1991,” said Oleksandr Korniienko, stressing that Ukraine is fighting for its own.
In addition, he noted that Ukraine sincerely seeks peace and stability in the region and beyond: “To this end, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi has proposed a ten-point peace formula.”
“Ukraine is heroically fighting the ru-invaders, defending our existence and freedom. An indomitable people of an indomitable country. We have a goal – victory. And we are moving towards it,” said Oleksandr Korniienko, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
