Yulia Svyrydenko met with Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland
During her visit to Poland, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko met with Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland.

“I thanked the entire Polish people for their consistent support of Ukraine. It is symbolic that the meeting took place in Rzeszów—a city that has taken in thousands of Ukrainians since the start of the full-scale invasion and has been granted the status of The Rescuer City by the President of Ukraine,” the Head of Government noted. “Ukrainian-Polish cooperation has a packed agenda. We focused primarily on defense, energy, bilateral trade, and the development of border and logistics infrastructure. In the near future, we expect to conclude an agreement on joint control at border crossing points and to resolve technical issues related to the registration of Ukrainian carriers in the SENT/RMPD system. We are strengthening cooperation between the energy companies Naftogaz and ORLEN.”
Yulia Svyrydenko thanked Donald Tusk for his personal contribution to unblocking the 20th package of sanctions and the EU loan of EUR 90 billion.
“It is important for us that the first tranche of this loan be disbursed in the very near future to support our defense capabilities and budgetary needs. We also expect negotiations on all clusters to begin as soon as possible in the context of Ukraine’s accession to the EU,” emphasized the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
The Prime Minister expressed her gratitude to Poland for its preparations for this year’s Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk and invited Donald Tusk to participate in the Fourth International Summit of Ukrainian Cities and Regions, scheduled to take place in May in Kyiv ahead of URC 2026.
