Yulia Svyrydenko thanked partners for their support of Ukraine at an informal meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Kyiv
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko participated in an informal meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, which took place in Kyiv. The Head of Government thanked partners for their support of Ukraine.

“Since February 2022, the country has received over EUR 193 billion in aid from the EU and its member states. This has allowed us to stand firm, continue resisting russian aggression, and pursue reforms,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko. “International support and the swiftest possible release of the EU loan are crucial for Ukraine. This is a matter of our defense planning and the country’s resilience in the face of military threats.”
The Head of Government emphasized that Ukraine had received the final benchmarks for all clusters and was integrating them into the National Program for the Adaptation of Legislation to EU Standards to be adopted in the near future.
“We are working on introdicing of all the necessary reforms,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
Ukraine is prepared to share its experience in ensuring the operation of the power grid amid the war.
“We have already begun preparations for the upcoming heating season and are restructuring the country’s energy system as part of Regional Resilience Plans. Energy is an area where we must deepen cooperation with European partners and work together to strengthen energy independence,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.
