On the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of the troops of the former Soviet Union from Afghanistan, a solemn flower-laying ceremony took place at the Memorial Complex honoring Ukrainian soldiers who fell in Afghanistan

The ceremony was led by the Chairman of the Ukrainian Union of Afghanistan Veterans, Hero of Ukraine, Lieutenant General, combat veteran, and prominent public figure Serhii Chervonopyskyi.
