The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine discussed with the Prime Minister of Norway the strengthening of air defense and the protection of Ukrainian airspace
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre. The parties discussed further support for Ukraine and key areas of defense cooperation.

Ruslan Stefanchuk thanked Norway for its military, civilian, and humanitarian assistance, which strengthens Ukraine's ability to resist russian aggression.
The conversation focused on peace talks and the need for reliable security guarantees. Among the priorities for defense support are strengthening air defense and protecting Ukrainian airspace.
Special attention was paid to the formation of a new security architecture in Europe and the coordination of efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace.
Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre confirmed that Norway will remain one of Ukraine's key partners and will support our country in its fight for freedom.
