Yulia Svyrydenko holds meeting with Marshal of the Sejm of Poland Włodzimierz Czarzasty
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held a meeting with Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Włodzimierz Czarzasty.

“Poland is our strategic ally and a key hub for the delivery of critical assistance to Ukraine – defence, energy, and humanitarian support. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Poland has provided EUR 5 billion in assistance to Ukraine’s Defence Forces and continues to deliver additional military support packages,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.
This year, Poland will host the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk on 25–26 June.
“Our teams are working closely together in preparation. We expect the conference to serve as an effective platform for cooperation across G2G, G2B, and B2B formats,” noted the Head of the Ukrainian Government.
During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their agreement to continue search and exhumation efforts in 2026 on the territories of both Ukraine and Poland. In particular, Ukraine has granted permission for such work in the former village of Huta Pieniacka in Lviv region. At the same time, Ukraine expects progress in reviewing its requests to conduct similar work on Polish territory.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko thanked Włodzimierz Czarzasty for his strong words of support delivered today in the Verkhovna Rada and for his personal commitment to standing with Ukraine.
