Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of credentials from Ambassador of New Zealand to Ukraine (concurrently accredited) Paul Ballantyne
On 4 November, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis received copies of credentials from Paul Ballantyne, New Zealand's Ambassador to Ukraine (concurrently accredited).
During the meeting, Yevhen Perebyinis expressed his gratitude to the people and Government of New Zealand for their military, humanitarian and political support, as well as for actively applying sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation. It was emphasised that coordinated sanctions of the international community, including New Zealand, reduces Russia's income and its ability to finance aggression against Ukraine.
The parties discussed further areas of cooperation in the context of countering Russian aggression and intensifying bilateral dialogue between Ukraine and New Zealand in the political, economic and other spheres.
Ambassador Paul Ballantyne expressed his respect for the heroism of the Ukrainian people and assured New Zealand's unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
