On the eve of completing her diplomatic mission in Ukraine and departing for Canada (August 2023 – July 2026), Her Excellency Ms. Natalka Cmoc, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Ukraine, received a distinguished public recognition for her outstanding contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Canada.
On behalf of the Public Council of Kyiv Diplomatic Magazine and the Award Chamber of Ukraine, whose members include Ukrainian diplomats, statesmen, representatives of public authorities, academia, civil society and the media, it was officially announced that Her Excellency Ms. Natalka Cmoc had been awarded the honorary title "Ambassador of the Year – 2025."
In recognition of her significant personal contribution to the development and strengthening of Ukrainian–Canadian relations, her many years of distinguished diplomatic service, steadfast support for Ukraine, and exemplary professionalism, Her Excellency was also decorated with the Order "For Outstanding Achievements in International Cooperation", First Class.
The ceremonial event continued with the presentation of special commemorative gifts to Her Excellency Ms. Natalka Cmoc. In particular, Her Excellency was presented with the original painting "Coat of Arms of Canada" by the internationally renowned Ukrainian artist Olena Teliatnyk, created within the framework of a joint cultural and artistic project of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and Kyiv Diplomatic Magazine. Her Excellency was also presented with a commemorative gift from the Book of Records of Ukraine and the Taras Shevchenko Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
