During a diplomatic reception held at the Premier Palace Hotel Kyiv, I had the honour of meeting His Excellency Mr Zlatin Krastev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Ukraine.
It was particularly pleasant to recall Bulgaria — a country that journalists from our editorial team had previously visited at the invitation of the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism. That journey left us with many vivid impressions and only strengthened our desire to continue telling our readers about this remarkable country, its rich historical and cultural heritage, ancient landmarks, traditions, and tourism potential.
Given our mutual interest in further cooperation, His Excellency and I agreed to discuss new joint plans in greater detail at our next meeting, including the possibility of organising another journalistic visit to Bulgaria.
