The working meeting with His Excellency Mr Arief Muhammad Basalamah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Ukraine, held at the Indonesian Embassy in Kyiv, was, as always, constructive.
Over a cup of coffee, we discussed a range of issues concerning Ukrainian–Indonesian relations and agreed on further plans for our cooperation.
I had the honour of sharing some welcome news with the Ambassador: the Public Council of Kyiv Diplomatic Magazine has named him “Best Diplomat of 2025.”
The award ceremony is scheduled for 5 October 2026, with diplomats from the Embassy, Members of the Parliament of Ukraine and representatives of the editorial team of Kyiv Diplomatic Magazine expected to attend.
